Considering the recent ATM tampering events in Tangipahoa Parish, we want to update you on security measures we are taking. All ATMS are secured to the best of our ability via several different methods including security cameras, routine maintenance and even apparatuses on the machines that make skimming difficult. Currently, we have staff monitoring each ATM 7 days a week. Additionally, we have old fashion cabinet handles covering the card insert mechanism to make skimming more difficult. We had to reattach and re-drill handles on a few of the ATMs which has left some unsightly holes in which we’ve attempted to seal using silicone. This is a temporary fix as we are working behind the scenes to find better security mechanisms for our machines.  

 
What to look for:
There are several ways you can inspect an ATM to protect yourself and your information. (This is also good practice for gas pumps or any other areas you may use your card that are not completely secured.) Before using any ATM be sure to check out the PIN keypad and the card insert slot, wiggle the card slot or keypad for loose-fitting attachments. Nothing should ever feel loose or fall off. You’re also looking for any of the following:
 
- Tape or glue on any part of the ATM
- Bulkiness on the card insert area or PIN keypad
- Anything hanging from the ATM
 
If you suspect that any ATM you used may have been tampered with, please notify the bank or contact the local police so that they may investigate any illegal activity.

Important Update regarding Debit Cards/ATMs in Tangipahoa Parish as of 1/26/19

Several of our ATMs in Tangipahoa Parish have been tampered with. Currently, all machines have been inspected and cleared of any harmful devices. However, to protect our customers, we've turned off debit cards that were used at one of these machines. This will result in the inability to use your card. We are ordering new cards for you immediately. 

On Saturday, January 26th our ITMs in Ponchatoula are open until 3pm to retrieve cash, if needed. 

On Monday morning, all branches will reopen for normal business hours. For questions, please call our Customer Support Center at 888.375.3093 or visit your local branch.
